Ball mills are used for fine grinding of clinker and raw materials. They operate under high loads and significant wear from abrasive particles. Ball mill bearings must be reliable and durable.

## Loads on Bearings

- Significant weight of the mill with load
- Radial loads from drum rotation
- Vibration from uneven loading
- Abrasive impact of particles

## Solutions

Spherical roller bearings with increased load capacity are used. Bearings with enlarged clearances are employed to compensate for thermal expansion. The use of bearings with an automatic lubrication system is recommended.
