# Drive End of Motor

## Drive End of Motor

The drive end of a motor is the side where the output shaft is located, connected to the working mechanism. Drive end bearings absorb loads from couplings, belts, or gear drives.

## Loads

- Radial loads from the drive
- Axial loads from the coupling
- Vibration from the working mechanism
- Shocks during start-up and shutdown

## Solutions

Ball bearings and roller bearings with enhanced seals are used. Bearings with axial movement capability are employed to compensate for thermal expansion. The use of bearings with an automatic lubrication system is recommended.
