# Non-Drive End of Motor

## Non-Drive End of Motor

The non-drive end of a motor is the side opposite the output shaft. Non-drive end bearings typically handle lower loads but must ensure precise rotor alignment.

## Functions

- Rotor support
- Ensuring precise alignment
- Compensating for thermal expansion
- Withstanding radial loads

## Solutions

Ball bearings with axial movement capability (floating bearings) are used. Low-friction bearings are employed. It is recommended to use bearings pre-lubricated for their entire service life.
