Gear motors are used to drive mechanisms requiring precise transmission ratios. Gear transmissions generate combined radial and axial loads on bearings.

## Loads

- Radial forces from gear meshing
- Axial forces from helical gear meshing
- Vibration from gear meshing
- Shock loads during operation mode changes

## Solutions

Tapered roller bearings and angular contact ball bearings are used. Pair sets are employed to handle loads in both directions. Bearings with optimal contact angles are recommended.
