# High Combined Loads Cause Stress Concentration

## High Combined Loads Cause Stress Concentration

Concrete mixers operate under significant radial and axial loads from the weight of the drum and concrete mix. These combined loads create stress concentration in bearings.

## Sources of Loads

- Radial loads from the weight of the drum and mix
- Axial loads from the drum's tilt
- Moment loads from eccentric loads
- Dynamic loads during rotation

## Solutions

High-load spherical roller bearings and tapered roller bearings are used. Bearings with enlarged ball and roller sizes are applied. It is recommended to use bearings with a load capacity reserve.
